Issued by IT Ministry of India · Sep 2024

Dear Participant,
India as the lead chair of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) for 2024 is committed to strengthening the renewed vision for GPAI by bringing together all stakeholders to deliberate on our collective vision for operationalizing GPAI’s thematic priorities.
During its presidency, India has hosted 4 virtual convenings to augment global visibility around GPAI’s Working Group outputs and to enhance member expert collaboration. These convenings have witnessed the participation of over 400 global AI experts, Delegates from GPAI Member Countries, and the Multi-stakeholder Experts Group.
Further, India continues to support GPAI’s thematic priorities adopted by members in the New Delhi Ministerial Declaration 2023. Towards these efforts India has hosted both domestic and virtual convenings to deliberate on way forward for the thematic priorities of Sustainable Agriculture and Health. As Lead Chair, India also continues to champion its vision of AI for Good and for All through GPAI’s thematic priority- ‘Collaborative AI for Global Partnership (CAIGP)’.
Given the evolution of GPAI into an integrated partnership with the OECD, collaborative partnership is a key priority as we seek to expand GPAI to the global community, especially countries of the Global South.
Accordingly, a virtual convening focused on Collaborative AI for Global Partnership is
being scheduled on 26th September 2024 at 17:30 hrs IST to 19:00 hrs IST to renew our commitment towards democratization of AI resources for all.
I am delighted to invite you to join this virtual convening to contribute towards the success of this initiative.
Looking forward to your participation and continued support to GPAI.
With Regards,
Abhishek Singh, IAS

The pandemic quicky revealed that our current systems are not as resilient as we thought they were. Artificial intelligence proved to be a solution to many real-life problems, which did not go unnoticed among businesses.
This is expected to lead to huge opportunities for AI in the future, spanning used cases such as improved response to unpredictable, improved shipping and asset management, faster and broader analysis of healthcare systems, and image and video recognition in areas like security and ecommerce.
Adapting to change has become an essential part of organizations' growth strategy in light of the rapid pace of digitalization. Successful AI adoption starts with AI being part of the organization's growth vision. Keeping this at the forefront, end-user industries shift their focus on AI to bring in enhanced customer experience (CX) and automation and gain competitive edge. A significant AI adoption gap still exists in terms of skills availability and data readiness that hampers accelerated growth across verticals.

organisations identify the pain points & opportunities for realizing digital strategies play an important
role. Before the advent of ubiquitous SaaS products and services, tech stacks were relatively simple
to identify, however, now there are enough option of solutions that can be combined to build and
